 How It Works

 The monitor uses the oscillometer measurement method. Once the cuff is fitted correctly and the monitor is activated, it automatically inflates the cuff and detects pressure changes caused by blood flow through the artery.

 How to Use

 Place the cuff around your bare upper arm and sit in a comfortable position. Keep your back supported, feet flat on the floor and arm resting at heart level. Rest quietly for at least five minutes before beginning.

 Press the power or measurement button and remain still while the cuff inflates. Do not speak, move or use a mobile phone during measurement. Review the results after the cuff deflates and record them under the correct user profile.

 Possible Side Effects or Discomfort

 This is a non-invasive electronic monitoring device and does not cause medicinal side effects. Temporary tightness, mild discomfort or a short-lived pressure mark may occur while the cuff inflates.

 Stop the measurement and remove the cuff if you experience pain, numbness or excessive discomfort.
